CHARACTERS

 

Martina “Panther” Redrick is an Air Force fighter pilot turned astronaut with a knack for getting into trouble. Both in space and on Earth, her adventures pit Martina and her friends against a cast of nefarious villains, all with their own diabolical agendas. Fortunately, whether flying a fighter jet or armed with only their fists, kicking ass is what she does best!

 

Martina is tall and thin, with long brown hair and chilling brown eyes. Although not strikingly attractive, she possesses a certain wild beauty. A daring risk taker, Martina has little regard for her own safety. She has a calm, professional exterior and can be cold-blooded and calculating.

 

Martina’s one true passion is flying, and her lifelong dream was to be an astronaut. She joined the Air Force at 17, as a cadet at the Air Force Academy. After graduation, she flew F-22 Raptors for several years, flying in combat on multiple occasions. Martina then spent two years as a test pilot at Edwards Air Force Base in California before being accepted to NASA.

 

These days, Martina lives in Houston. Not content to simply fly the space shuttle, she owns three airplanes, a Cessna 172, a small twin and a P-51 Mustang. The later was a gift from a WWII pilot who lived in her hometown. Martina sometimes takes the Mustang to air shows.

 

Rachel “Moondog” Ansetti is Martina’s sassy sidekick. An Annapolis graduate and combat veteran, she flew F/A-18 Hornets with the Navy before joining NASA. A stunningly attractive woman, she is five and half feet tall, with a trim figure. Her golden brown hair frames a gorgeous face with beautiful blue eyes. Moondog is sarcastic, quick witted, and always eager for adventure.

 

Moondog has a penchant for fast planes and fast cars. Her garage houses a large collection of modern and classic American muscles, including a silver Corvette Stingray, blue Shelby GT500 Mustang, black Dodge Viper and a Harley-Davidson. She also likes good scotch and attractive men.

 

Vince “Phoenix” Carlton is an Air Force Academy graduate who started his career as an F-22 pilot. He’s five foot eight, with light brown hair and eyes. An eternal optimist, Vinny is upbeat, easy going and always smiling. Gutsy and determined, he won't back down from a challenge, which has got him into trouble more than once.

 

Vinny is also quite possibly the worst poker player in the history of the game. He has no idea what a good hand actually is, and has absolutely terrible luck with cards. Of course, that doesn't stop of him from trying and, inevitably, losing.

 

George “Apache” Pershing is an Air Force F-22 Raptor pilot. He’s tall and broad-shouldered, with large, muscular arms. His tanned face is ruggedly handsome, and he keeps his brown hair cut short. His callsign is a nod to his heritage, his great great grandfather was a full blood Apache.

 

Chris “Desperado” Vella is Pershing’s wingman. He’s slender, standing just a few inches short of six feet, with shaggy blond hair and blue eyes. Known for his quiet demeanor, he's laid-back and always keep his cool.

 

Orion is Martina’s big, gray cat. He’s generally affectionate and occasionally vocal, especially when food is involved. Like all cats, he has a high opinion of himself and thinks he owns the house and everything in it. (Don’t worry, her neighbors take good care of him while she’s gone.)
